A poetic appeal by a youth who cares

A poetic appeal by a youth who cares:

Vida

Your life may belong to you, but it is not yours to take.
To you, it might be the easiest escape.
But to the people around you, it’s so much more.
The absence of one soul takes a toll on all those lives and ruins innumerable others.
Your death affects your people more than it affects you.
Don’t put others through Hell while you go to Heaven. Willingly.
Don’t hurt the people you love. They deserve so much better.
Save them and save yourself too.
Your presence matters. You matter.
Your life may belong to you, but it is not yours to take.
